Born and raised in Ralston, Nebraska, Brittany has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician for nine years, working in both emergency and general practice. Her passion lies in surgery and anesthesia, and she is always eager to expand her knowledge and skills in the field. She originally started in nursing school but quickly realized that her heart was with animals!
One of the most rewarding aspects of her career is building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. She loves being part of every stage of an animal’s life, from their playful puppy days to their cherished senior years. Helping pets feel safe and cared for is what drives her every day.
She earned her Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology from Iowa Western in 2016 and has since pursued additional certifications, including a Nutrition Coach certification with NAVC and an AAHA Anesthesia Safety and Monitoring Certificate. Passionate about continuing education, she hopes to work toward a Veterinary Technician Specialty (VTS) in General Practice.
Outside of work, she loves traveling, spending time with family and friends, and hanging out with her two dogs—Nino, a 10-year-old Pitbull mix she has had since he was 8 weeks old, and Antwon, her 1-year-old King Charles Cavalier. She also enjoys visiting breweries with her dogs, shopping for Nikes, and event planning. Fun fact: She has worked at the same bar for 17 years, where she now co-manages and handles marketing.
She is excited to be part of the OVG family and looks forward to growing in her career alongside such a dedicated team!
